2009 - What a year in pop music. One name though defined the music industry: Lady Gaga. Without a doubt, when we look back at 2009, we will think of how she dominated the music world. GLEE is my most influential TV show of 2009

It was a battle of the vampires and the singing tweens. In the end, the singing tweens of Fox's Glee won me over . While I am a die-hard fan of the HBO series, True Blood, there was something special about this small show that many predicted would not last. Now it seems to become a pop culture phenomenon and a music industry power-punch with singles reaching the top of iTunes. Glee is the most influential series on TV for 2009. Glee, Vol. 2 was released today and is already #1 on iTunes album charts. GO GLEE!

Alicia Keys - Live AIDS performance & #1 Latin single? Yes!

Alicia Keys performs her new single "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart" on Dec. 1 at the Nokia Theatre in NYC.



And Alicia has a #1 single - but on the Latin charts. Alejandro Sanz features Alicia Keys on their duet on "Looking for Paradise". Here is the video:
